Project 16/21; Baked A Birthday Cake

And it was a success!!! :))))

This person that I baked for is actually a friend, but recently, I see him more often as my patient in the dental clinic as compared to other socializing occasions. You'd hardly find friends who are that patient to when you experiment with their teeth, and even gives you and your partner little gifts from time to time.

So when dinner was set for upcoming 30th birthday, I thought a homemade cake would be a good gift to show how grateful I am for his kindness!

Honestly, I haven't baked a proper cake in years, and this strawberry cake that I did was the biggest (and grandest) scale I have ever achieved in a single try. The fact that the finished product turned out to be what I dreamt it would be actually surprised me.

I'm not too sure if my friends didn't want to make me feel bad, but I really hope that everyone was as pleased with the outcome as I am; especially Chin Aik.

Here's to more experiments in the future; I just need to find potential guinea pigs to try!
